Bridgepoint Education has signed on as a Silver Sponsor for “Sharon’s Ride, Run, and Walk for Epilepsy” on April 27th. The event is expected to have more than 1,000 participants and all proceeds will go directly to the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County. The EFSDC and its programs work to raise public awareness and raise the quality of life for more than 30,000 San Diegans who live with seizure disorders.
“Bridgepoint Education’s mission is based on giving back, so we always are looking for new ways to contribute to the communities we serve,” said Andrew Clark, CEO of Bridgepoint Education. “One of our employees is a team leader for the run and brought this great event to our attention. Epilepsy affects more than 3 million Americans, and Bridgepoint is proud to support such an important cause.”
Registration for the walk begins at 7:30am at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. For more information on the Sharon’s Ride, Run and Walk for Epilepsy, please go to: http://www.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=260415.
