Volunteers from Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI) and Ashford University will help to restore Ruffin Canyon in Serra Mesa on Saturday, June 9. Working with the San Diego Canyonlands organization, hundreds of employees and their families will spend the day picking up trash, removing weeds and beautifying the canyon.

Back in October, more than 200 San Diego-based Bridgepoint Education, Ashford University and University of the Rockies employees painted John Marshall Elementary School in Chollas Creek.  

The Mission of San Diego Canyonlands is to promote, protect and restore the natural habitats in San Diego County canyons and creeks by fostering education and ongoing community involvement.
