More than 1,500 fans, players and coaches are expected to gather at the San Diego Convention Center on Wednesday, Dec. 26 to enjoy an afternoon of football stories and gourmet dining at the annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl luncheon.

The event begins with the always entertaining Battle of the Bands in the Convention Center’s Sails Pavilion. Afterwards, fans will have the opportunity to listen to coaches and players from the Baylor Bears and UCLA Bruins discuss the upcoming Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl game.  

Attendees will enjoy a season’s worth of highlights on a number of big screen monitors and learn more about the journey that led both teams to San Diego for this 35th annual bowl game.

The Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl kicks off at 6:45 p.m. P.S.T on Thursday, Dec. 27 at Qualcomm Stadium and will be televised live nationally on ESPN. Tickets for the game may be purchased at www.holidaybowl.com or through Ticketmaster. Bridgepoint Education will donate one dollar for every ticket sold to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
