Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI) provided more than 60 laptops and other computer technology equipment to Valverde Elementary School in Denver, Colo. through the Denver Tech for All program. Bridgepoint’s donation will help to provide a quality educational experience for students and families from Valverde Elementary. Volunteers from Denver Tech for All added operating systems to the computers, in addition to providing ongoing tech support to the recipients.

“Thank you, Bridgepoint Education, for your generous donation,” said Drew Schutz, Valverde Elementary School principal. “With this donation, you are impacting 60 Valverde families by providing them with a great tool that will prepare them for their path into future education.”

Valverde Elementary is located in the southwest area of Denver and has been serving students since 1923. The school has a population of 315 students, with 97% of Valverde Elementary families qualifying for a free or reduced lunch.
