Kenny Lin, an experienced leader in real estate and facilities management, has been appointed Vice President of Real Estate for Bridgepoint Education. Lin will oversee all real estate, construction, facilities, security, and corporate services. He will report to Senior Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer, Rocky Sheng.

Prior to joining the Bridgepoint team, Lin was responsible for all real estate, construction, and facilities management across the global office, call center, training center, and data center portfolio for The Home Depot, Inc., in Atlanta, GA. He also served in various management roles within the Navy Civil Engineer Corps; lectured in the Department of Mathematics for the University of Maryland, University College in Souda Bay, Greece; and conducted research at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA.

“We’ve been searching for a Vice President of Real Estate for several months and Lin’s background and experience fit perfectly,” said Sheng. “We are very excited to have Kenny starting in his new role. He is a welcome addition to the Bridgepoint Education team.”

Lin holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Lin is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate, and a member of CoreNet, the Institute of Real Estate Management and IFMA.
