Bridgepoint Education's Ashford University Introduces Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Human Services

The degree will enable students working in a health-related, human service field, as well as students seeking to enter the sector, the opportunity to acquire the skills needed to serve its diverse constituents. The program will also provide a broad understanding of biological, psychological, and social theories.

Students who complete this degree may pursue careers in sociology, psychology, medicine, mental health, allied health, health promotion, health administration, health management, and managed care. Other possible fields include ecumenical services, corrections and criminal justice, nursing, child development, case management, housing management for specialized populations, family services, gerontology, and social work.  

The Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services is currently available online at Ashford University. It does not include any additional professional licensures or certifications.
