It's a $57,000 Touchdown for Rady Children's Hospital
One dollar for every ticket sold to last night's Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl donated to the San Diego pediatric care facility

Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI) pledged to donate one dollar for every ticket sold to last night’s Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl to Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego. That pledge amounted to a $57,103.00 donation after a total of 57,103 tickets were sold to college football fans. 

The check presentation to Rady Children’s Hospital took place on the field at Qualcomm Stadium during the 35th annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. Andrew Clark, Bridgepoint’s chief executive officer, made the presentation to Carol Damon-Scherer, interim executive director of the Hospital’s Foundation. 

Rady Children’s Hospital is a non-profit pediatric care facility in San Diego that offers the region’s only designated pediatric trauma center. Since opening its doors in 1954, the hospital has treated nearly two million sick and injured children. 

The game ended with Baylor defeating UCLA 49-26.
