Bridgepoint Education Welcomes New Regional Vice President at Denver Location
Dr. Theodore "Ted" Blashak will oversee shared services at downtown office

Bridgepoint Education announced that Dr. Theodore “Ted” Blashak has accepted the position of regional vice president of shared services operations at the organization’s downtown Denver location. As regional vice president, Dr. Blashak will oversee the shared services business model for Bridgepoint Education’s operations in Denver. The shared services business model includes a number of functional areas for Bridgepoint’s two educational institutions, Ashford University and University of the Rockies.

Dr. Blashak comes to Bridgepoint Education with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Most recently, he was the president for the Michigan campus of South University and president of the Art Institute of Michigan. Before that, he held several positions with the University of Phoenix, including roles as corporate vice president, business research & effectiveness, state vice president for the University’s Michigan campuses, and campus director for the University’s metro Detroit campuses. Dr. Blashak also spent time as a member of the University of Phoenix’s faculty, teaching general and professional studies.

Dr. Blashak holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from University of New Mexico, a master’s degree in Training & Learning Technologies from University of New Mexico, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
